Field kitchen Hf.14, referred to as the "Kleine Feldküche", was developed by the German army before World War I and was a smaller version of army kitchens designed to supply smaller units. The design was a horse-drawn trailer equipped with boilers and trays for preparing and dispensing food. Due to its practicality and simplicity, it was widely deployed in field conditions where it provided soldiers with hot meals, which was essential for the morale and endurance of the troops.
The Hf.14 was used during the First World War and its deployment continued in the Second World War, when it formed an important part of the Wehrmacht's facilities. The field kitchen allowed several meals to be prepared simultaneously and was easily transportable due to its sturdy chassis and the ability to be hitched to horses or vehicles.
The MiniArt 1/35th scale kit offers a detailed model of the Hf.14 field kitchen, complete with figures of the soldiers operating it. This makes it possible to create an authentic diorama depicting everyday life in the rear of army units. Thanks to the realistic design and many fine details, this is an attractive addition for modelers focused on historical background vehicles and scenes.
The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
