The 2128 Bradley 105mm Mobile Gun System is an experimental project from the 1990s, when the U.S. Army tried to equip the chassis of the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle with a heavy 105mm gun. The goal was to create a firepower vehicle capable of direct fire support and destruction of fortified targets, using the proven Bradley platform. This concept was intended to provide a similar role to that later assumed by the M1128 Stryker MGS, but never progressed beyond the prototype and test phase.
