Duke Hawkins: Gloster Meteor F.8 / FR.9 publication in English. Cat. DH042 / ASK Distribution 170-DH042

Action, Cockpit, Fuselage, Weapons, Maintenance.

This 84 page book brings an extensive portrait of the British first generation fighter jet, the Gloster Meteor F.8 and its fighter-reconnaissance version FR.9. The aircraft, which origins go back to 1943, was introduced after the Second World War and flown by many air forces, such as the RAF, the Belgian Air Force and the Royal Netherlands Air Force to name but a few. This book includes photos of all the aircraft’s details, as well as action photographs of the world’s only airworthy Meteor F.8, which is located in Australia.

The book, with reference DH-042 is part of a limited edition 1/32 scale kit from Revell, but will be available seperately in early 2026.
