Hobby Boss 1/35 Object 279 is a plastic kit of a tank for assembly. Object 279 is a Soviet experimental heavy tank of the late 1950s, distinguished by its rounded hull and four track units. It remained a development vehicle and did not enter series service.
Seven sprues are supplemented by the main upper and lower hull sections. The running gear uses individual track links. One photo-etched fret supplies commander’s cupola details and intake screens; copper cable is also included. Headlights and their guards are separate. A gun travel lock with alternative positions and rear fuel tanks complete the exterior fittings. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
