1/35 Palm leaves - TYPE 2 LARGE

Miryoku TYPE 2 LARGE palm leaves allow you to add palm vegetation to a model or diorama without having to cut out individual leaves by hand. The set contains 7 pre-cut leaves made of transparent foil. The flexible material can be carefully shaped so that the leaves appear straight, drooping, or irregular, depending on the age and placement of the plant.

Recommended procedure

1. Carefully separate the leaves before painting and test their placement in the scene you are preparing.
2. Gently shape each leaf with your fingers or a smooth tool; a sharp crease could damage the foil.
3. Apply a thin layer of primer suitable for smooth surfaces, followed by several thin layers of green shades.
4. Highlight the veins and edges with a lighter shade; older leaves can be accented with yellow or brown tones.
5. Attach the finished leaves to the prepared trunk or diorama base using a small amount of suitable adhesive.

Use model paints and primers and adhesives suitable for model accessories to finish the model.
