The Takom 1/35 T58 Heavy Tank depicts the American heavy tank, developed in the late 1950s as a result of the desire to create a heavily armed machine for direct fire support in future conflicts. The T58 was equipped with a massive 155 mm calibre gun, an automatic loading system and a low profile turret. However, the project did not progress beyond the prototype stage and was cancelled in 1957 along with other heavy tanks being developed in parallel.
