Hobby Boss 1/35 T29E3 is a plastic kit of a tank for assembly. The American T29E3 is an experimental heavy tank rather than a production combat type. Cylindrical rangefinder housings on the turret sides visually distinguish it from other versions in the series. The colour guides offer two test-vehicle schemes, including markings from 1947.
Over 1,100 parts include components on nineteen sprues and the main hull and turret sections. Tracks are assembled from individual links. The gun barrel is a multipart plastic assembly, while a small etched fret supplies fine details. The manufacturer gives a finished length of approximately 332 mm. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
