1/350 HMS Ark Royal 1939
I Love Kit 1/350 HMS Ark Royal 1939 is a plastic kit of a British aircraft carrier. The box includes Swordfish, Skua and Fulmar Mk.I carrier aircraft. Paints and glue are not included.
HMS Ark Royal was commissioned into the Royal Navy in 1938. During the Second World War she served in the Atlantic and the Mediterranean; in May 1941 her Swordfish torpedo bombers crippled the rudder of the battleship Bismarck. She was sunk by the German submarine U-81 in November 1941.
The kit provides a two-part hull, Fairey Swordfish, Blackburn Skua and Fairey Fulmar Mk.I aircraft, and a decal sheet with flight deck lines, elevators and British aircraft roundels. The colour guide shows the ship in grey with a dark flight deck. This 1/350 model suits modellers interested in the Royal Navy and naval aviation in the early war years. Paints and glue are not included.
Nationality: Great Britain. Period: Second World War.
