Hobby Boss 1/350 Los Angeles SSN-688 / VLS / 688I is a plastic kit of a submarine for assembly. This American Los Angeles-class nuclear attack submarine kit offers SSN-688, VLS or improved 688I configurations. The 3 in 1 label means a choice for one model, not three complete submarines.
Four plastic sprues are accompanied by a stand and photo-etched propeller and nameplate. The early 688 has sail-mounted diving planes. VLS adds twelve vertical launch tubes in the bow; the improved 688I retains these and moves the diving planes to the forward hull. Model length is approximately 313.4 mm. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: USA. Period: modern era.
