1/350 USS Alaska CB-1

Hobby Boss 1/350 USS Alaska CB-1 is a plastic kit of a ship for assembly. USS Alaska CB-1 was the lead ship of the American Alaska class of large cruisers in World War II. The large model represents the full hull and includes two SC-1 reconnaissance floatplanes alongside the ship itself.

The kit includes over 1,150 plastic parts on seventeen sprues and separate main hull and deck sections. The plastic deck has moulded plank texture, rather than a separate wooden deck. Photo-etched parts and metal anchor chain add fine details. A stand with nameplate is supplied for display. The completed model is approximately 704 mm long. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
