More than 1,590 plastic parts include the hull, decks and separate superstructures. Deck planking is represented in plastic. Metal gun barrels and anchor chain are complemented by etched railings, ladders, radars, catapults and crane components. Two SC-1 floatplanes are moulded in clear plastic. A stand with nameplate is included; the painting guide depicts darker hull sides, light superstructures and a blue deck. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
