1/350 USS Yorktown CV-5

USS Yorktown CV-5 was the lead ship of the Yorktown class and was commissioned in 1937. She fought in the Battle of the Coral Sea and was sunk in June 1942 following the Battle of Midway, in which her aircraft played an important part.

The kit includes a one-piece hull, F4F-4 Wildcat, TBD-1 Devastator and SBD-3 Dauntless aircraft, and a decal sheet with flight deck lines, the number 5, flags and aircraft insignia. The colour guide shows the ship in a blue-grey scheme together with the aircraft markings. At 1/350 the result is an impressive model that suits any collection of Pacific War ships and aircraft. Paints and glue are not included.
