1/48 Aero C-3A double-sided express fit mask for Special Hobby
ASK masks in a double-sided Express Fit version, made for the Special Hobby Aero C-3A in 1/48 scale. Two sheets cover the glazed nose, cockpit and windows inside and out.
The masks are an in-house ASK design made precisely for the glazing of the Special Hobby kit in 1/48 scale. Set ASK 200-M48168 from the SCALE MASK range comes on two sheets. The first carries masks for the cockpit panes and the glazed nose, including the fan-shaped group of masks 14–25, plus curved strips 26 and 28, a row of rectangular masks 27 and circular masks 29. The second sheet holds higher-numbered masks for the inner side of the glazing. The one-sided version is 200-M48167.
The Aero C-3 was a post-war Czechoslovak aircraft derived from the German twin-engined Siebel Si 204D, which Aero and BMM had already built during the war. The C-3A variant was used for pilot training, the C-3B for crew training. The masks are shaped for the Special Hobby Aero C-3A kit in 1/48 scale.
