    ASK drew up this set itself, working directly from the parts of the 1/48 Eduard P-51D Mustang. The black foam set consists of four lettered parts: left and right (L, R) for the large main undercarriage bays at the wing root, part C for an opening on the fuselage underside and part B for the tailwheel bay. The shapes match the 1/48 Eduard kit.

    The P-51D, with its bubble canopy and six 0.50 in machine guns, was the most numerous Mustang version and escorted American bombers over Europe and Japan.
