The B-17G Flying Fortress was one of the most significant bombers of World War II. In case of a water landing, each aircraft was equipped with a lifeboat—a dinghy. It was stored in a hinged compartment located on the left side of the fuselage behind the upper gun turret. All parts—the compartment, its cover, and the folded dinghy—are cast in fine detail and designed for the new B-17G model from HK Models.
This is an add-on set; the plastic kit, paints, and glue are not included in the package unless specifically stated by the manufacturer.
Recommended Use
- Degrease, clean, and dry-fit the part before assembly
- Use an adhesive suitable for resin
- We recommend applying a primer before painting
- Model paints, brushes, or an airbrush are suitable for finishing
