Hobby Boss 1/48 CH-47D Chinook is a plastic kit of a helicopter for assembly. The D-version transport Chinook has two large tandem rotors and a spacious fuselage with a rear loading ramp. The kit offers two US Army marking options and allows the rear ramp to be displayed lowered.
Contents include over 330 plastic parts, a detailed cockpit and two turbine assemblies with photo-etched intake grilles. The model has a rear ramp and a rail aerial along the fuselage. Rotor blades are moulded with the droop seen on a parked aircraft. Rotor diameter is 376 mm, so display space needs to allow for the rotor discs. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
