1/48 Douglas A-4M Skyhawk
Brand: Hobby 2000

The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was a light and agile deck attack aircraft that, thanks to its simple design, reliability, and low operating costs made it popular with the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The A-4M version was developed in the early 1970s. In the early 1970s, the A-4M was upgraded exclusively for the US Marine Corps and included a more powerful Pratt & Whitney J52-P-408A engine, a strengthened design, upgraded avionics, and a distinctive raised cockpit overlay for better visibility.

The A-4M Skyhawk was capable of carrying a wide range of armament - from bombs and missiles to cruise missiles - and performed close air support, ground target attack and anti-ship operations. Its size and maneuverability made it ideal for deployment from smaller carriers and makeshift airfields.

The 1/48th scale Hobby 2000 kit features detailed plastic parts with fine surface engraving, an accurate rendition of the A-4M version, and decals for authentic USMC markings. This model is designed for modelers interested in Cold War airborne aircraft and attack machines with a long service history.

Package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
