Hobby Boss 1/48 F-111D/E Aardvark is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The F-111D/E Aardvark has a distinctive two-seat cockpit with side-by-side seating and variable-sweep wings. The kit offers a choice of open or closed canopy and flap positions during assembly.
The 541 plastic parts include components on nineteen sprues and the main fuselage sections. The cockpit, wheel bays, engine and open bomb bay are represented. Separate flaps and slats are accompanied by external stores; the decal sheet includes colourful tail designs with tiger stripes. Depending on wing position, wingspan ranges from approximately 203 to 400 mm. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
