1/48 F-8E Crusader "MIG Killers" - Hasegawa + Cartograf + Masks
Brand: Hobby 2000

The Vought F-8 Crusader, nicknamed "The Last of the Gunfighters", was the last American fighter aircraft with guns as its primary armament. The F-8E version, introduced in the first half of the 1960s, featured upgraded avionics, an improved AN/APQ-94 radar, the ability to carry AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles, and enhanced ground-attack capabilities.

During the Vietnam War, the F-8E Crusader became one of the US Navy and USMC's most successful fighter aircraft, with its pilots scoring numerous MiG kills - hence the designation "MiG Killers". With its speed, agility and durability, the Crusader earned a reputation as a dangerous adversary.

The 1/48th scale Hobby 2000 kit combines detailed Hasegawa plastic parts with fine surface engraving, high quality Cartograf decals for marking machines with confirmed MiG kills, and masks to facilitate and refine painting of the cockpit and other parts. The model is ideal for modelers interested in airborne aviation and Cold War air combat.

Package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
