Hobby Boss 1/48 F4U-4 Corsair early is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. This early F4U-4 combines a four-blade propeller with curved cockpit windscreen glazing. Decals offer aircraft 116 of VF-61 aboard USS Midway in 1949 and 317 of VF-22 aboard USS Coral Sea in 1948.
More than 300 parts on twelve sprues are complemented by clear canopy pieces. The engine cylinder rows, cockpit and landing-gear wells with separate undercarriage are represented. The wings have separate sections and control surfaces, and fuel tanks are included. Model wingspan is approximately 260 mm. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
