Hobby Boss 1/48 F8F-1B Bearcat is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The cannon-armed F8F-1B offers two postwar subjects: French Air Force aircraft F of GC 1/22 Saintonge in January 1954 and Royal Thai Air Force number 234 in early 1960.
The cockpit consists of a tub, seat and instrument panel. A separate main wheel bay is provided, with a radial-engine front and four-bladed propeller at the nose. A belly tank, underwing bombs and rockets are included, together with clear cockpit glazing. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
