1/48 FB-111 Aardvark

Hobby Boss 1/48 FB-111A Aardvark is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The Strategic Air Command variant has longer wings than the F-111A. Decals offer 68-0247 of the 509th BW at Tiger Meet 1978 and 68-0245 Ready Teddy of the 380th BW. The kit is designed around wings in the fully forward position.

The contents include two engines, nose radar and the side-by-side cockpit and escape capsule, separate clear canopy parts, wheel wells, bomb bay, flaps and slats. Four rubber tyres, drop tanks and weapons from shared sprues are supplied; select stores appropriate to the chosen FB-111A. The model is 483.6mm long with a 436mm span when the wings are extended. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
