1/48 Jaguar GR1/GR3 - Heller
Heller 1/48 Jaguar GR1/GR3 is a plastic kit of the British strike aircraft. It has 128 parts, allows either the GR1 or the GR3 to be built and offers five marking options.
The SEPECAT Jaguar was developed as an Anglo-French supersonic strike and training aircraft. The Royal Air Force flew the single-seat Jaguar GR1 from the 1970s; upgraded aircraft were designated GR1A and later GR3 and served until 2007. Licence-built Jaguars remain in service with the Indian Air Force.
Heller kit 80427 contains 128 parts. The "2 in 1" note on the box means a choice between the GR1 and GR3 when building one aircraft, and five decal options widen the choice of individual airframe. The finished model measures 350 × 181 mm.
The 1/48 scale leaves room for detailed work on the cockpit, wheel wells and stores, and the kit suits modellers with some experience. Paints and glues are not included.
