Vespa Models 1/48 Tumansky-Engined "Fitters" Vol.2 is the second decal sheet focusing on the colourful colours of Su-17/22M fighter-bombers equipped with Tumansky R-29-300 engine. It offers 20 attractive markings for machines from Afghanistan, Angola, Iraq, Libya, Peru, USSR and Yemen. The decals were designed in Peru and printed in Italy by Cartograf.
The Su-17/22 family of fighter-bombers, "Fitter" in NATO code, was the backbone of the frontline air forces of the USSR and many of its allies during the Cold War. Powered by the Tumansky R-29-300 engine, the machines were characterized by their high performance and ability to operate in a wide range of climatic conditions. They were exported to many countries and deployed in numerous conflicts in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
