1/48 MIDWAY DUAL COMBO
Eduard Midway DUAL COMBO 1/48 is a limited kit of two American F4F-3 and F4F-4 Wildcat fighter aircraft, deployed in ourNavy and Marine Corps from pre-war service to the Battle of Midway, with ten camouflage schemes and a wealth of equipment. The package does not include the paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
The Grumman F4F Wildcat was the main deck fighter aircraft of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps in the early years of World War II. The F4F-3 and F4F-4 versions featured different wing and armament designs - the F4F-4, for example, introduced folding wings and enhanced firepower. Both types played a key role from the peacetime service period until the decisive engagement at the Battle of Midway in June 1942, where Wildcats protected American carriers and attacking bombers.
The Eduard Midway DUAL COMBO 1/48 scale kit offers the opportunity to build two models - the F4F-3 and F4F-4 - in realistic likenesses from different periods of their deployment. Includes Eduard plastic parts, color etched accessories, pre-cut masks and decals for ten US Naval Air Forces camouflage schemes. The models measure 18.9 cm in length and 24.1 cm in span, and the high quality workmanship makes them suitable for for more experienced modelers interested in naval aviation and the Pacific battlefield.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
