1/48 MIG-15 / LIM-1 - Bronco + Cartograf + P-mask
H2K 1/48 MiG-15 / Lim-1 is a legendary jet fighter aircraft from the beginning of the Cold War, produced in the USSR and licensed in Poland. The Lim-1 variant was a Polish version of the original MiG-15. The kit includes Bronco parts, Cartograf decals and P-masks to make things easier. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
The MiG-15 was a Soviet jet fighter aircraft that first flew in 1947 and became one of the most important combat aircraft of the first generation of jet fighters. It was deployed in many conflicts, most famously during the Korean War, where it became a serious rival to the American F-86 Sabre. The aircraft featured an arrow wing, a powerful engine, and a powerful armament, which allowed it to fight effectively against the adversaries of the time.
The Polish version of the Lim-1 was a licensed copy of the MiG-15, produced at the WSK-Mielec plant from the early 1950s. These machines served in the Polish Air Force as a basic jet fighter and later also in a training role.
The 1/48 scale H2K kit combines plastic parts from Bronco with high quality Cartograf decals and included P-masks for easier masking of the cockpit and wheels. The model offers accurate shapes, fine surface details and authentic markings for both Soviet and Polish machines, allowing you to build both the original MiG-15 and the licensed Lim-1.
