1/48 MiG-29 Fulcrum air intakes

The MiG-29 Fulcrum is a Soviet/Russian multirole fighter aircraft that entered service in the 1980s and became one of the most famous types of Soviet Cold War aircraft. A distinctive feature of its design is the intake ducts located under the fuselage, which are a prominent visual feature of the aircraft when viewed from the front and below. In plastic kits, these parts are often simplified or not deep enough, which reduces the overall impression of the finished model.

Aires' resin add-on (Quickboost series) offers replacement intake ducts with finer detail, more precise geometry and greater depth to better match the actual model. The parts are cast in resin, allowing for sharper edges and finer surface texture than standard injection molded plastics. Installation requires careful removal of the original parts from the kit and gluing in resin replacements, usually with minor adjustments for a perfect fit.

The add-on is designed for modelers who want to increase the level of detail in their 1:48 scale MiG-29 without the need for extensive scratch-built modifications. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
