The MiG-29 Fulcrum is a Soviet/Russian multirole fighter aircraft that entered service in the 1980s and became one of the most famous types of Soviet Cold War aircraft. A distinctive feature of its design is the intake ducts located under the fuselage, which are a prominent visual feature of the aircraft when viewed from the front and below. In plastic kits, these parts are often simplified or not deep enough, which reduces the overall impression of the finished model.
Aires' resin add-on (Quickboost series) offers replacement intake ducts with finer detail, more precise geometry and greater depth to better match the actual model. The parts are cast in resin, allowing for sharper edges and finer surface texture than standard injection molded plastics.
