1/48 Mil Mi-8MT double-sided express fit mask for Trumpeter
ASK masks for the Trumpeter Mil Mi-8MT in 1/48 scale come as a double-sided Express Fit set. Two sheets cover the cockpit and cabin windows inside and out, with circular and ring masks added.
ASK engineered this set itself, tailored to the parts of the 1/48 Trumpeter Mil Mi-8MT kit. Set ASK 200-M48186 from the SCALE MASK range comes on two sheets. The rear sheet carries the outer masks, circular and ring masks included, while the front sheet holds masks 23–39 for the inner side: rounded rectangular window masks, shaped frame masks in pairs, the circular mask 34 and ten circular masks 39. The one-sided version is 200-M48185.
The Mil Mi-8MT, NATO code Hip-H, is told apart from the original Mi-8 by its tail rotor on the port side and the dust shields in front of the intakes of its TV3-117MT engines. The export version is called the Mi-17. The masks are intended for the Trumpeter Mi-8MT kit in 1/48 scale.
