1/72 Gloster Meteor Mk.8/9/10 one-sided painting mask for Special Hobby
ASK masks for the Gloster Meteor Mk.8/9/10 from the Special Hobby kit in 1/72 scale, in a one-sided self-adhesive version. Masks 1–10 cover the canopy glazing, and the WHEELS section contains six wheel masks.
ASK designs the masks specifically for the parts of the Special Hobby Gloster Meteor Mk.8/9/10 kit in 1/72 scale. The Meteor F.8 was the definitive production version of Britain's first jet fighter and, according to Wikipedia, formed the bulk of RAF Fighter Command between 1950 and 1955. It spawned the reconnaissance versions: the FR.9 fighter-reconnaissance aircraft, first flown on 23 March 1950, and the PR.10 photo-reconnaissance variant. All three were fitted with ejection seats.
Sheet ASK 200-M72045 from the SCALE MASK range carries masks 1–10: trapezoid 1 and triangles 2 and 3, frame masks 4–7 and small masks 8–10. The WHEELS section consists of ring masks 11, 12 and 13, two of each. The set is intended for the Special Hobby kits in 1/72 scale; set 200-M72065 covers the Airfix Meteor F.8.
