Hobby Boss 1/48 P-51D Mustang IV is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. Although the box uses the Mustang IV title, this release offers Korean War F-51Ds: US aircraft 45-11736/FF-736 of the 12th FBS in 1950 with shark-mouth markings, and South African 335 of 2 Squadron Flying Cheetahs in 1952.
Over 40 parts include simplified fuselage and wing components, a separate seat, undercarriage and drop tanks. The clear bubble canopy is a single part for a closed cockpit. The model is 205mm long with a 236mm span. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
