The Hauler HLX48395 photo-etched set is designed for the Tamiya Panther Ausf. D kit in 1/48 scale. The brass parts replace overly thick plastic external fittings and give the model sharper, thinner detail, as the manufacturer’s photos of the fitted model show.
The Panther Ausf. D was the first production version of the German Panther medium tank, which first went into action in the summer of 1943 at Kursk. For the engine deck grilles of the same kit Hauler offers the separate HLX48396 set. The plastic kit itself is not included.
