Special Hobby's 1/48th scale model of the SMB-2 Super Mystère 'Sa'ar' offers a detailed rendition of the famous supersonic aircraft originally developed in France. The 'Sa'ar' version was upgraded by the Israeli Air Force and equipped with an American Pratt & Whitney engine, greatly improving the performance and reliability of this machine.
The Super Mystère became the first supersonic aircraft in the French Air Force, while its Israeli version playedplayed a key role during conflicts in the Middle East such as the Six Day War and the Yom Kippur War. This model makes it possible to build an exact replica with authentic details and markings of the Israeli Air Force. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
