Hobby Boss 1/48 TBF-1C Avenger is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. This carrier torpedo bomber includes crew compartments and a dorsal gun turret. The decal sheet offers three US Navy markings: 8-T-1, S8 and 58-C-26.
The wings can be built extended or folded and the flaps are fitted separately. A radial engine, cockpit and bomb bay for torpedo or bomb armament are included. The box contains 197 grey and 15 clear parts plus photo-etched details. The manufacturer identifies the first two decal subjects as TBF-1 and the third as TBM-1C; their details may differ from the kit’s TBF-1C configuration. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
