Eduard The Ultimate Tempest 1/48 is a limited edition kit of the British fighter aircraft Hawker Tempest Mk.II from the post-war period, focusing on RAF, Royal Indian Air Force and Royal Pakistan Air Force machines, containing plastic Eduard parts, colour etched accessories, masks, decals for 10 camouflage schemes and an accompanying publication by Chris Thomas. The package does not include the paints or adhesives needed for assembly.
The Hawker Tempest Mk.II was a powerful British fighter aircraft developed at the end of World War II, powered by the Bristol Centaurus radial engine. The Mk.II version was deployed primarily in the post-war period with units of the RAF, Royal Indian Air Force and Royal Pakistan Air Force, where it served in a variety of climatic and geographical conditions.
