Hobby Boss 1/48 Tornado IDS is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. This two-seat strike Tornado offers German Jabo 32 aircraft 44+50 with colourful Bavarian anniversary markings or RAF ZA404. The manufacturer provides variable wing sweep and a choice of flap positions.
The 416 parts comprise plastic components on twenty sprues and the main fuselage sections. The cockpit has two multipart ejection seats, side panels and consoles. A radar antenna sits behind the separate nose cone, and landing-gear wells and legs are detailed. The clear canopy can be displayed open; external stores include tanks, bombs, missiles and pods.
