1/48 Tumansky-Engined “Fitters” Vol.1
Vespa Models 1/48 Tumansky-Engined "Fitters" Vol.1 is a decal set for export variants of Su-17/22 with Tumansky R-29-300 engine. It contains 12 color markings of machines that flew in the colors of the air forces of Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Peru, Syria and Vietnam. The decals were designed in Peru and printed in Italy by Cartograf.
The Sukhoi Su-17/22 "Fitter" was a Soviet fighter-bomber aircraft with variable wing geometry, developed from the Su-7 type. Its versatility and ability to carry a wide range of armament made it one of theone of the most widely used Soviet export fighters of the Cold War. Export versions with the Tumansky R-29-300 engine were delivered to many countries and participated in a number of regional conflicts.
