Hobby Boss 1/48 U-2S Senior Span is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The U-2S reconnaissance aircraft in Senior Span configuration features a large dorsal fairing and underwing pods. This release offers black USAF schemes BB 80-1071 and WR 80-1067 with red stencilling.
Over 130 parts are supplied on eight sprues. The model includes a cockpit with photo-etched belts, a divided clear canopy, tandem undercarriage and wing outrigger legs. The finished wingspan is approximately 65.3 cm, a useful consideration when planning display space. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
