Aires 1/48 Westland Wessex wipers Quickboost is a 1:48 scale resin kit containing windscreen wipers for the British Westland Wessex multirole helicopter. The Westland Wessex was a British multi-role helicopter developed from the American Sikorsky H-34/S-58, which served in the British Armed Forces from the early 1960s until the 1990s. The Wessex was used in a variety of roles, from troop and cargo transport to search and rescue missions and anti-submarine warfare. The British version differed from the American version mainly in propulsion (turboshaft engine instead of piston) and a number of other modifications to meet the requirements of the RAF and Royal Navy.
