1/48 X-1 Mach Buster
Eduard X-1 Mach Buster 1/48 is a kit of the American experimental Bell X-1 rocket plane from the post-war period. ProfiPACK edition with detailed plastic parts, colour etched accessories, resin wheels, masks and decals for four camouflage schemes. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Bell X-1 was the first aircraft to break the speed of sound in horizontal flight. This historic milestone was achieved on October 14, 1947, by Captain Chuck Yeager in a machine nicknamed "Glamorous Glennis". The aircraft was designed with a shape resembling a .50 caliber bullet, giving it the necessary stability at supersonic speeds.
