1/700 PLAN Type 003 Aircraft Carrier CV-18 Fujian

The Fujian (CV-18) is the third aircraft carrier of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy and the first indigenously designed aircraft with electromagnetic catapults (EMALS). It was launched in June 2022 and represents a significant step in the development of China's naval forces. Compared to the previous Liaoning and Shandong aircraft carriers, the Fujian offers a more modern design, greater displacement and the ability to operate efficiently with next-generation airborne aircraft.

The ship measures over 300 metres in length, has a full displacement of around 80,000 tonnes and is capable of launching heavier aircraft with greater weapons and fuel capacity thanks to electromagnetic catapults. This technology makes the Fujian one of the most advanced aircraft carriers in the world and symbolises China's ambition to become a major naval power.
