H2K 1/72 Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.F2 (G) Eastern Front 1942 is a German medium tank deployed on the Eastern Front during World War II. The F2 version, later redesignated Ausf.G, was armed with the new KwK 40 L/43 long gun, which greatly increased its firepower. The kit includes Dragon parts and Cartograf decals for an authentic finish. The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.F2, from July 1942 referred to as Ausf.G, was a major modernization of the basic medium tank of the Wehrmacht. The main change was the installation of the 7.5 cm KwK 40 L/43 gun, which enabled effective combat against Soviet medium and heavy tanks on the Eastern Front. Machines of this version were deployed from the spring of 1942, particularly during the fighting in the south of the USSR, including the Battle of Rostov and the fighting in the Caucasus. With its balanced combination of firepower, armour and mobility, the Ausf.F2/G became a formidable opponent of the Red Army.
The 1/72nd scale H2K kit features high quality plastic parts from Dragon and Cartograf decals for crisp and detailed markings. It offers an authentic representation of the 1942 East Front deployment with faithfully reproduced hull, turret and undercarriage details. The model is suitable for modellers interested in small scale WWII armoured vehicles.
The package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
