1/72 2 in 1: Romania Barbarossa (PZL 23A and PZL p.11F in Romanian Service)
Brand: IBG

Romania entered the war against the Soviet Union in June 1941 as an ally of Germany. In the first combat operations, the Polish machines, acquired before the war, played a key role - the PZL.23A Karaś bomber and the PZL P.11F fighter, licensed in Romania. These types were already obsolete designs at that time, yet they formed the backbone of the Romanian Air Force in supporting ground troops and protecting Romanian territory.

ThePZL.23A Karaś was a light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft that participated in Romanian service in attacks against Soviet targets in the early stages of Barbarossa. The PZL P.11F, produced at the IAR factory in Brasov, was based on the original Polish design, but due to its agility and robustness it was still able to fulfil its role in 1941, although it was already technically obsolete.

The 1/72 scale IBG kit offers the opportunity to build both of these machines in one package. It includes detailed plastic parts, authentic Romanian Air Force decals and fine surface details. This is an ideal opportunity for modelers looking to expand their collection with lesser known machines involved in the fighting on the Eastern Front in the summer of 1941.

The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
