1/72 B-25 Mitchell Mk.II double-sided for Airfix
ASK masks for the Mitchell Mk.II (B-25) from the Airfix kit in 1/72 scale, in a double-sided self-adhesive version. Two sheets cover the glazed nose and other glazing inside and out, with a WHEELS section of wheel masks.
The mask shapes come from ASK's own design work, matched to the parts of the Airfix Mitchell Mk.II (B-25) kit in 1/72 scale. Double-sided set ASK 200-M72024 (SCALE MASK) comes on two sheets. The main sheet contains the G6 and G8 nose mask groups, a CLEAR PARTS section, masks 122–125, C5 ring masks and a WHEELS section with masks C9, C10, C20 and C21; the second sheet carries masks for the inner side of the glazing. The set is shaped for the Airfix kit in 1/72 scale; the one-sided version is 200-M72023.
The RAF flew B-25Cs and B-25Ds supplied under Lend-Lease as the Mitchell Mk II. Besides No. 2 Group, they were operated by No. 305 (Polish) Squadron from September to December 1943, and in the Far East No. 3 PRU used them for photographic reconnaissance.
