1/72 B-25C/D Mitchell double-sided for Airfix
ASK masks in 1/72 scale for the Airfix B-25C/D Mitchell, made as a double-sided self-adhesive set. Two sheets cover the glazed nose and other glazing inside and out; the WHEELS section holds wheel masks.
The masks are an in-house ASK design, drawn directly for the clear parts of the Airfix B-25C/D Mitchell kit in 1/72 scale. Double-sided set ASK 200-M72022 (SCALE MASK) consists of two sheets. The main sheet carries the G6 and G8 nose mask groups, a CLEAR PARTS section, masks 122–125, C5 ring masks and a WHEELS section with masks C9, C10, C20 and C21; the second sheet holds masks for the inner side of the glazing. The set is intended for the Airfix kit in 1/72 scale; the one-sided version is 200-M72021.
The B-25C was an improved B-25B with R-2600-13 engines, de-icing equipment and two machine guns in the nose. Only 130 B-25s of all versions had been delivered by 7 December 1941, but orders for the C and D versions later exceeded four thousand aircraft. In Britain they served as the Mitchell Mk II.
