Trumpeter 1/72 Challenger 1 Desert Version is a plastic kit of the British main battle tank in desert configuration. Additional side armour covers distinguish this version. Release 07105 offers two British marking options, A/B. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.

Trumpeter 1/72 Challenger 1 Desert Version portrays the first-generation Challenger tank in desert configuration. Its long barrel, angular turret and additional side covers give it a distinctive outline. The decals provide British Army tactical symbols and registration numbers, with two marking options in the instructions.
The box contains over 110 parts in total, distributed across four sprues and separate hull, turret and track components. The track assemblies incorporate the inner wheels, while the outer wheels are attached separately. There is therefore no need to assemble the tracks from individual links. No photo-etched parts are included. The finished model measures 163 mm long and 53.4 mm wide, fitting on a compact desert display base. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
