1/72 E14Y1 Model 11
H2K 1/72 E14Y1 Model 11 is a plastic model of a Japanese reconnaissance seaplane, also known as "Glen", used during World War II. Includes Hasegawa parts and Cartograf decals. Package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Yokosuka E14Y1 Model 11, referred to as "Glen" by the Allies, was a Japanese light reconnaissance seaplane designed for launching from Type I-25 submarines. In 1942, this type of aircraft made history when it made the only bombing raid on the American mainland during the war - an attack on the forests of Oregon to start a fire. The E14Y1 was a small, lightweight and demountable machine, easily stored in a pressurized hangar aboard a submarine.
H2K's 1/72nd scale model offers detailed execution and is built on quality Hasegawa parts. Cartograf decals ensure accuracy and high quality final appearance. An ideal choice for collectors of unusual aircraft types and those interested in the naval operations of the Japanese Imperial Navy.
The package does not include the paints or adhesives needed for assembly.
