Hobby Boss 1/72 F-14A Tomcat VF-1 is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. One F-14A can be finished in either of two VF-1 Wolfpack markings: NE100/159434 from USS Enterprise or NE105/161878 from USS Ranger. The wings can be positioned extended or swept during assembly.
Large upper and lower fuselage sections are complemented by separate cockpit seats and instrument panels, intakes and exhausts. The canopy is clear and two-piece, and the undercarriage is plastic. The weapons sprue includes AIM-54, AIM-7 and AIM-9 missiles, with fuel tanks also supplied. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
