1/72 German 610x85 spoked wheels - 1 pair
ASK 1/72 German 610x85 spoked wheels: one pair (2 wheels) produced by 3D printing for WWI aircraft. The tyres carry raised Continental lettering and the 610x85 N.S. size marking.
These 1/72 ASK wheels have individually rendered wire spokes, a hub with axle and the rim. The tyre sidewall carries raised Continental lettering with company medallions and, in a frame, the size 610x85 – N.S. Even on a small model the wheels therefore look more three-dimensional than solid plastic discs.
Spoked wheels with Continental tyres were typical equipment of German Great War aircraft. The 610×85 mm size (diameter × width) is the smallest of the three German wheel sets from ASK – the others are 710×85 and 760×100 – so the modeller chooses the size from references for the specific type.
