1/72 Heinkel He 111P-2 double-sided for Airfix
ASK masks for the Heinkel He 111P-2 in 1/72 scale, a double-sided self-adhesive set designed for the Airfix plastic kit. Two sheets cover the glazed nose and other glazing inside and out, with CLEAR PARTS and WHEELS sections added.
The masks are an in-house ASK design, drawn directly for the clear parts of the Airfix Heinkel He 111P-2 kit in 1/72 scale. Double-sided set ASK 200-M72017 (SCALE MASK) consists of two sheets. The main sheet carries mask groups named after the clear parts of the Airfix kit (G2, G6, G7, G11, G14), a CLEAR PARTS section and a WHEELS section; the second sheet holds further masks for the opposite side of the glazing. The masks are intended for the kit in 1/72 scale; the one-sided version is 200-M72016.
The P-series He 111 differed from earlier versions mainly in its glazed nose without a stepped windscreen and its DB 601 engines. The P-2, in service from May 1939, gained improved radio equipment, stronger armour and bombs stowed in four vertical ESA-250/IX magazines.
