1/72 Kriegsfischkutter ‘WWII German Patrol and Minesweeper Ship’

The Kriegsfischkutter (KFK) was a multi-purpose vessel of the German Kriegsmarine during World War II. Originally designed as a fishing cutter, it was modified for military purposes, including patrolling, anti-submarine warfare and minesweeping. Since 1942, over 600 of these ships have been built in 42 shipyards across seven European countries. KFKs operated from the North Sea to the Black Sea and were deployed in various Kriegsmarine fleets. After the war, some were used for mine clearance and in the civilian sector.

This 1/72nd scale kit from Special Hobby offers detailed plastic parts to build a KFK model. The model includes exact replicas of the hull, deck and superstructure, including armament and other details. The kit is intended for experienced modelers; glue and paint are not included.
